Final 22-23 Booster Email - May 21
Good morning Dragon Band Families
Well, this is it. This is the last newsletter for this school year from the boosters. A huge shout out and congratulations to our graduating seniors and their families! Best of luck in your future adventures! We thank all of you for your time and dedication to this program over the last 4 years.
It has been an honor and a pleasure serving as president of the Dragon Band Boosters for the past two years. I wish Martha Calhoun and her new board members for the 23-24 school year the best of luck! I would also like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the current booster board members and liaisons. If you know someone on the board, please thank them as they have done a tremendous amount of work over the past year (and many two) for our band program and students.
Have a fantastic summer. Travel. Rest. Enjoy! We are looking forward to seeing most of you back in July for the start of a wonderful, luminous new season!

Uniform Help - still in need of some parent volunteers
We are searching for several people to help with uniforms for next year.
Two people to help and shadow Laura Garland for next school year's marching season. Work has already begun with sizing but there's lots more to do and Mrs. Garland will need some help and someone to train for when she's graduated For questions, contact lauragarl.lg@gmail.com
AND a parent to head up Concert Uniform Fittings next year. The job starts late in the fall, and entails:
Line up volunteers (Sign-Up Genius works great) to help with fittings during class periods. The best time is at the end of marching season.
Line up volunteers to hand hem uniforms as marked. Boosters will have a list of volunteers to draw from for this.
Repair hems as needed through the concert season.
Come back the first week of summer and put away returned uniforms in the uniform room.
